Even Par Tour is a mobile application developed and owned by Driver Wedge LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our app.
1. Information We Collect
When you use Even Par Tour, we collect the following types of information:
Personal Information:
- Name
- Email address
- Your chosen handle (username)
Location:
While you're using the app, we collect your device's precise location. We use it to recommend nearby courses and to track your shots during a round. We only collect location while the app is in use — we don't collect location in the background.
Golf Performance Data:
Scores, course and tee information, dates and times, your handicap index and history, and predictions generated from your own scoring data. These predictions are computed on your own device and are not sent to us or any third party for that purpose.
Push Notifications:
A push notification token, used to deliver round and feed alerts to your device.
Subscription and Purchase Data:
If you purchase a tour membership or an Even Par Tour Membership subscription, we store your Apple transaction identifier, the product purchased, its status, and its expiration date, so we can verify your purchase with Apple.
User-Generated Content:
Posts, replies, and reactions you share within the app.
Golf-related statistics including, but not limited to, scores, tee times, dates and times, course names, and performance data you submit as part of your participation in events or general app usage. This data may be used to generate leaderboards, performance summaries, or social interactions within the app.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Provide core app features, including course recommendations, shot tracking, and leaderboards
- Verify purchases and subscriptions with Apple
- Communicate with users (e.g., account-related updates, push notifications)
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data with service providers who help us run the App, each limited to using it only to provide these services:
- Apple — push notification delivery, and verifying your in-app purchases and subscriptions
- Apple WeatherKit — weather conditions shown for a course or round
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — our cloud hosting and infrastructure provider
4. User Accounts and Authentication
To use certain features of the app, you are required to create an account using your email address and name. Authentication is required to help us maintain a secure and personalized experience.
5. User-Generated Content
You may post public content (e.g., feed posts, replies, or reactions) that is visible to other users. Please do not share sensitive personal information in these posts. All posts are subject to moderation and community guidelines, and can be reported in-app (Feed > Report).
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
You can delete your account at any time from Locker Room > Account, at the bottom (Destroy Everything) inside the app. Deletion anonymizes your profile: your name, handle, and login are removed. It does not erase every record — your past rounds remain, under a generated name, so tour standings and statistics for other golfers aren't disrupted. You may also request deletion, or request access to or correction of your personal information, by emailing us at director@evenpartour.com.
7. Children's Privacy
Our app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify users through the app or other means. The updated version will always be available here with a revised "Last Updated" date.
